Aboriginal Health Liaison Officer To coincide with the Closing the Gap initiative, GPSA is pleased to announce the appointment of Ros Miles to our team as Aboriginal Health Liaison Officer. Ros will be attending the National Indigenous Health Project Officer Orientation Workshop in Melbourne on 14-15 April and looks forward to meeting Network members. Domestic Violence Workshop – 29-30 June 2010. Venue to be advised. Supported by Lifeline through an AGPN initiative. Applications from Mental Health practitioners, Nursing in General Practice staff and Aboriginal Health workers are encouraged. Contact Sue Billett for details.

Australia's Healthy Weight Week 2010 a success – The Dietitians Association of Australia and its Accredited Practising Dietitian members hosted the third Australia's Healthy Weight Week (AHWW) on 24 – 31 January, 2010. AHWW 2010 reached over 6 million people with media items and there were more than 25 events around the country. For more information visit the AHWW website
