General Practice SA (GPSA) and the Aboriginal Health Council of South Australia (AHCSA) came together to convene a two day workshop with the SA Divisions network and Aboriginal Health Services in South Australia looking at Aboriginal Health Checks and referral linkages.
The workshop was attended by more than 100 people including Division and practice staff, allied health providers, Aboriginal health workers, AHCSA and GPSA staff, and provided a valuable opportunity for both organisations to participate in a collaborative journey while gaining a greater understanding of the role of health assessments in improving health outcomes for Aboriginal people.
